    Machine will pause printing for several minutes while waiting the wiper overtemp error to clear. This typically occurs after multiple paperpath jams and other errors.

    Solution would be to override the wiper frequency after a paper jam.
    Consult manual, test option if available and reporting back.

    Solution was three fold:
    1. Fix the causes of the jams, to ensure smooth initial input into the print head ares.
    2. Clean the encoder on the back of the machine. When back panel was removed, encoder was covered in fine ink mist and paper dust.
    3. Clean the paper feed sensor, located inside the machine by removing the front left panel and using a small bristle brush. It’s the first sensor out of the paper stacker.
